Ana did her homework but did not hand it in.

What are 3 possible reasons why Ana did not hand in her homework?  Challenge yourself to  come up with the most creative but plausible [possible] reason. ['Because she forgot it', is not a reason you can use because it doesn't reflect any thoughtful effort.]

Your ideas will be rated out of 5. Remember we are all creative beings so go forth and be creative.

  1. Ana was walking to school to get her homework in but she dropped it in some wet cement on her way. When she go to school she found that she didn't have her homework. 10 minutes later she went back and found a corner of her homework in the cement but it was too thick to get it out. She went back and told her teacher but she didn't believe her. Then she found out there was no way to get it back. The end.

  2. Ana was eating her breakfast, while her baby brother was playing with her homework that was left in the living room. When Ana left the table she found her homework ripped and dribbled on by her baby brother.
She went to school and told her teacher. but the teacher didn't approve, so Ana had to do her homework
    all over again.

    1. Yes, I can see that the wet homework might have fallen to pieces. This is a very palusible reason. 4 for plausibility.

  4. Ana's dad was driving her to school. The window was down. Suddenly a great gush of wind came and blew it out of her lap! She told her dad to stop the car. She saw that a car came and ran over the paper. So much mud was on the paper that she didn't want to pick it up. Then a lady with a pram came. The baby looked sick. Then the baby vomited on the piece of paper. Ana knew her teacher would understand. But sadly she got after school detention for a week because she was late and no homework.

I can see the homework whirling throught the air after a gust of wind sucked your homework out the window. What a shame you got a detention from your very nasty teacher.

  6. Ana had just finished her homework! she shoved all of her stuff in her bag, rushed to the bus, but she hadn't realized that she forgot to zip it up, then her homework flew out of her bag. When she hopped onto the bus she checked if she had all her stuff, she saw her homework was gone so she sprinted to the bus door, But the bus doors closed and the bus started. The bus stopped off at school, the bell rang, she just made it in time Her teacher called the roll then asked for all the homework Ana didn't have it, so she told her teacher the reason why, but she didn't believe her so next week she had double the homework!

    1. You have presented a very plausible reason, Jordan and such a frustrating one for Ana too. She must have been very unhappy to have received double the homwework the following week. 4 for plausibility.
